I've noticed that unlike pretty much everything else in the UK, when buying dive kit you haggle.
I'd say phone around and see what price you can get a quote for everything in one go (a good list of shops is on www.ukrecscuba.org.uk), then go back to your LSD (because they're good to have) and tell them the best price you've been quoted, that you want ideally to buy locally but only at a good price.
You'd be supprised how much it would save you.
