The Vytec has a VERY conservative model, that DOESNT do any recognised form of "deep" stop. I keep hearing people say that they do, but I've owned one and used it on reasonably aggressive dives in the 40-60m range and it just seemed to generate loooong shallow stops.
As someone else said, the suunto's also dont seem to credit for deco stops that are more than 3m deeper than the "recommended" depth.
Suunto make very reliable computers (which certain other manufacturers could learn from), but they dont make any that generate a deco curve in line with more modern deco theory, despite their claims.

I quite agree with the above the Sunnto gives 'deeper' stops than conventional Nitrox computers but not what you would call proper deep stops. Deepest stop I have had is 22m on the Sunnto after a 30min at 60m dive.
As for reliability???? I am on Vytec no 3 under warrantee and still n my first VR3 so its obviously more luck than judgement.
