Why not just lock it rather than deleting it? That way it won't keep popping up but whatever may be valuable about it would be preserved in the archives, for anyone interested in those issues (e.g. real cost of running a club boat; side-scan sonar or whatever) to search for.
I'd agree with that. Think that there are some fairly compelling rebuttals in here, and it'd be a shame to lose them. If it's locked it won't keep scuttling back up to the top of the list, but the info is still retained for reference.
