Do you think I'm being over cautious?
Totally over the top. The problems shipping Inspirations round the world is not what breaks on them but what they break. Suspect areas are the switches on the handsets (they don't like being banged so the handsets travel in my drysuit booties) and the catches on the case.

Well the other thing that gets broken is you bank account on excess baggage. How come BA want £139 return for 70 kilos of me to Finland but £360 each way for 44 kilos of excess?

Beware if fitting 3L tanks without the nice 'inline' valves on them. My case was never the same again after a course in the Canaries on hired tanks.

Oh the thing on the scrubber that does break is the glue round the top. Don't drop a fully loaded scrubber into the canister and let the top catch on the edge - lower it in gently.
