Anything anywhere The first time I went to Gozo the instructions with the hire car were "most people drive on the left". Before you ask, the english drove on the left, the germans drove on the right, and the locals drove in the middle.....Fun! Trucks had one way arrows to indicate the side you should pass (moving roundabouts).
Crete was also fun; some towns were wealthy and put out loads of roadsigns such as hairpin bend for a bend of a couple of degrees, others were poor and you got sort of mini-memorials where people had been killed......so a three memorial bend was exciting.
