The SMP is simply a blow up novelty penis - not a proper SMB. It has a small 'airbed' style valve on it.

Well, in the SETT tank i tried to do it by myself by blowing it up by mouth. However, after a couple of breaths it is fairly buoyant and pulls you up so i had to let go.

At the farnes it was a team effort where i clamped myself to a rock and held onto the penis, while John Mitchell blew it up. Worked a treat! Three or four breaths at 12-15m and it is.....erect...on the surface.
