| Thinking about it I reckon you should blow into the bag and suck through the scrubber as water is less likely to get into the scrubber, isn't it, as it has further to go from your downstream mouthpiece valve. Mind you, if you are sucking from the scrubber, you will get a mouthful of gak straight off whereas you might get a bit longer if the gak has to get through the bag first.
Oh- and I was right about the AP200 inflator having one-way valves. With a bit of fiddling to reduce the breathing effort and a way of closing it off, it would make a perfect double hose rebreather mouthpiece for your loop. |
