Mount it low and upside down so you can reach your on off switch on the can. Angle the can so the on /off movement is front to back because I found side to side imposable in 5mm gloves.

I don’t know the Buddy ranger but some BCs have small loops or mini D rings on the inside adjacent to where the back plate would be. If so you can also use these. I do this for single tank, as I can’t reach the torch easily when it’s clamped to a single. I cable tie a small suicide clip to the top of the torch and mount a bungee on the loop above on the back plate. Just clip on at the bottom and keep in place with the bungee
