Artical from BBC Inside out
Cameraman Colin Froud of Divercol Productions has become been the first person in the UK to film a British seahorse in the wild.
The remarkable footage was gained during a dive off the South Coast and is proof these beautifully graceful and elusive creatures are found in our waters.
Colin along with his footage was shown on BBC 1's Inside Out programme on Monday 6th September 2004
Anyone else seen (not captured on film, obviously) these beauties on their dives? NO SPECIFIC LOCATIONS need to be mentioned.
It would be neat if these were successfully listed as a protected species. I know it is being sought.
Very cool
