If you don't thread it on, does it "flap about"? The reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to sidemount my bailout cylinders cave-style, meaning the valves are kind of under my armpits. In order to be able to easily access this connection point, I was thinking that I might not thread the lungs on the shoulder straps, relying on the clip at the bottom to hold them down - then, when I need to get to the mounting point in my armpit, I can release the counterlung, to give me a more unobstructed access... Any thoughts?
