He's dead then. The manuals are improving but you ain't going to jump in the water and figure it as you go on this. The thing offers clues to what the buttons do but some of the settings are cryptic in the extreme.

Salt makes them stick so a rinse under the tap is vital (it then dribbles on your lap but at least the buttons work). It isn't long and short, that's just an ugly lie started by the manual, it is push and release (activates on release) or push and hold (activates on a timer). Nothing happens when you push a button which confuses the life out of people expecting a change.

I could whinge about some of the features but I've done that before so I won't waste your bandwidth again.
