Cheap O2 Analysers

Hi Folks,

I am ordering some LCD PPO2 displays for my rebreather from a US manufacturer and will have some spares.

If anyone fancies it, I can make up some oxygen analysers. They will be about the size of a small fag packet, they will have backlit displays and will run off a PP3 9V battery. Sensor will be 3.5mm mono jack connector (Teledyne R17D or equivalent) as used on the Vandagraph. Parts I guess will come to about £35 plus a sensor. I can get sensors for about £25 but haven't used them so don't know what they are like.

This isn't a commercial venture, just my tinkering. I'll be leaving one connection undone so it is down to you to make that final connection and verify that the meter works. I'm also not planning on doing more than 5.

So if there are any takers:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Cheers,

Stuart
