I have done it. Firstly the Uwatec website has an update to DataTrak software that recognises USB connections. I bought a serial/USB converter online for about 9 months ago for about £15 (came with CD-Rom). It works. I am not a computer whizz.

they are quoting 30 quid, might be cheaper if you look around. I can't remember if this was where I got mine for definite but it looks right.
