Next time inform them that you are recording the call or training purposes.
Ask if they are recording the call
Ask for their call reference number at the start of the call
Ask for their name, ask them to spell out in full
Ask which company they are calling from-when they say they are calling on behalf of........., repeat the initial question
Ask why TPS is not working.
Ask for the supervisor
Basically ask them questions
