| Imported post Hey Dales,
For those of you that don't know - because he's too damned modest to ever talk about it unless absolutely pushed on the subject (I found this out from his wife!!) -, and correct me if I'm wrong here Dude, but Andy is a former BSAC Instructor, current PADI Course Director, IANTD Tech Instructor, TDI/SDI Regional Course Instructor Tutor, Trimix Diving & Blender Instructor and, not that he'll admit to it, got a damned fine bowling and batting average! If any of you guys want to be taught how to dive safely to 150+ metres to see the channel wrecks, then he's your man. And above all, he's just a completely decent chap with no agenda - other than safe diving. He's also got a wicked sense of humour which, in my book at least, is paramount in maintaining sanity.
One of the bonuses of having him aboard is his knowledge of dive sites - wrecks and off-shore sites (and throw in cavern, cave and the generally unknown). I know you guys are always looking for new, different and challenging sites to visit - well here's your chance.
Welcome aboard Andy, will be joining you for the group Nitrox gig - as will Hobby - and any news on the U-boat? Has the Skipper of the Hard-boat come back to you yet? As well as our usual troop, there are a few guys on this forum that are up for it, so news on sailing times, costs, food/drink etc. well appreciated.
I'll call ya tomorrow for a heads-up. Take it easy Bro and congrats on the new post. Sanity at last!.
Cheers,
