I can't see how it can be different. The incoming gas is CO2 free even more so than OC. You will get more CO2 inhaled but how much depends on how much the mask flexes and allows extra dead space. Certainly the KM in my avatar has lots of volume but CO2 isn't a problem. However that one has the problem of having somebody sitting on your shoulder and telling you when you get things wrong.
