| Another thing to throw in the ring is that the DAN policy is actually based on Italian law, the policy document in English is only a translation. The policy actually says that if you have questions regarding the policy you should check the original Italian! So, if the sh!t hits the fan and you end up in a legal wrangle would you need a solicitor expert in Italian law?
Also, and as I'm not an insurance expert, does anyone know the implications of the Financial Services Act coming into force on 14th January 2005? Will DAN insurance be legal to be sold/purchased/valid in the UK?
