The unit now seems to be working perfectly. However the fault was definetly not user error, I work with this sort of thing everyday and while the instructions are pretty poor for it I know not all that was going on was supposed to be happening! I do know how to read the instructions that are there and know what the <> symbols mean.
The options menu at times was not all there, unless there is an option for switching it off that I can't find then this should not have happened.
The screen was jumping around on its own without pushing anything and the unit would not switch on properly. When you pushed the left button it brought up the info screen but when pushed again it would not start up
onto the dive screen.
Delta P called it the I/O port to me as it is not just for O2 sensors, the one behind the scren is an IR port.
What worries me is that it was doing strange things yesterday but it behaving itself like there was never anything wrong, reminds me of Windows on a PC and I wouldn't trust that to dive on.
I am going to call Delta P on Monday and see what they say but I am not happy diving this unit
