I quite like the VR3 (but I do feel a bit of an odd one out - I got the hang of it very quickly). The manual is rubbish however and the screen guard is a nightmare (lots of air bubbles under it somehow).
I know there are plans to launch a programming cable so I may wait and see if that does the same job as the IR link rather than buy one now. Does anyone have any news on it at all? It seems to have been delayed by about a year so far
