I know there are plans to launch a programming cable so I may wait and see if that does the same job as the IR link rather than buy one now. Does anyone have any news on it at all? It seems to have been delayed by about a year so far
<font color='#0000FF'>nick,
i will check will delta-p re; pc to i/o connector cable.
the ir link now comes complete with a 9pin extension cable to allow the ir link to be flexible for positioning.
the new computer guard is now available and is basically a clear cover that sits above the unit with retaining clips and is supported by passing over the i/o connector.
if you want a look at one let me know and i'll send it on approval.
normally heating the guard with a hairdryer before fitting stops the bubbles with the rubber guard.
delta-p have now released a quick set-up guide that comes lamented for outdoor use,i am expecting to see it shortly and i will post it.
cheers
barrie
