| Hmm, I'm just wondering what is more of a risk - moisture coming off the sorb and water coming in from the lung (which is still possible, but a lot less likely) or protection from the sorb getting wet which could cocktail me, but also all the CO2 problems that would come with it.
Basically, I want to know if using it backwards is going to create problems with the sorb usage and all the rest. I can't see it being a major problem, but if Drager have designed it to be used in a particular direction for a reason I'd like to know. Because their design makes sense the other way round to me. It would be almost impossible for liquid to get iunto the sorb with it the other way round, even with a single lung. You'd have a fine water trap in there, but with the 2 lungs I have planned the chances are minimal, but I'd like to minimise even that.
John, the unit when complete will be about the size of a set of twin 7s. Nice. The scrubber sits at the top nicely over the 2l tank.
By the way, I need another ally 2 to complete the design (as well as various other bits, but ho hum) anyone know a good source, or have one knocking around? I'll stick an ad in the personals anyway, but just if you're reading this and you can help, PM me.
