Red face Just got a Olympus 8080 with PT-023 housing

Hi I have just got the 8080 after upgrading from an old olympus 960 1.3mp.

So I have sort of got over the fact that the housing is huge. I am really pleased with the camera on land, it has not been diving yet.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to attach it to a diver while in the water, one small landyard does not seem enough! When I do deco I want to forget about it and just have it out of my way.

Also does any one use one in the UK ?
The manual says get some one to hand it to you when i am in the water. Like thats going to happen.

So I know the best entry to the water with a camera is a backward one. But if some one uses one I would like to know how they get of a hard boat with it when diving.

Any help advice would be greatly appreciated

It was all so much easy when the camera was only worth £90

Happy diving

Adam
