It was a catalogue of cock-ups and a fair bit of ar*e covering I think. I was more annoyed when I heard that our dive guides knew that out plane was going to be delayed (they were told 3 hours) before we were even at the departure gate let alone on the plane... As for the lack of hot drinks coming when promised and 90 minutes spent waiting for a bus we can only guess at who might have been responsible (I suspect it was not Britannia's fault).
Apparently, Tony Backhurst is thinking of dropping Britannia for precisely this reason - they are always messing people about. Not sure if loosing 60-100 bums on seats per week will make much difference to them though??

We pre-booked blocks of 15kg luggage allowance (£30 each) to ensure we were O.K. We had about 400 kg between the group including the 20kg allowed and the 5kg extra on presentation of a diving qualifiaction, of which we used about 395 kg I think.
