| I knew this was bad when the chopper from RAF Boulmer went that way with his foot to the floor. I have kayaked on the river at Carlisle on a couple of occasions in the deep and distant past, and also saw that the kayak club were involved in the rescue. The river is quite big volume at normal flow rates. Good on you chaps!
