how to go about it

I fancy getting some redundancy, and thought about a pony, but if I'm going to buy a new 1st/2nd stage, I got to thinking that I could just run independant twins.

So...... Being a tight git, I already have 2x15l cylinders, and BCD with 25kg lift (a 'wing style' seac sub pro 2000). I guess you can see where this is going......

How about buying twinning bands, a new 1st/2nd stage and a new pressure gauge, and running it on my existing BCD??

I'm 6'1" and 15st, my SAC is not great, hence using a single 15 up till now.

Comments? will I be able to lift it? will the BCD die? Am I barmy?

If you think I should just save up and get a 'normal' twinset and wing, don't be afraid to say so.
