Ask yourself why you want a Sub-optimal item. The whole point of DIR is that everything is as optimal as possible. The whole system is designed around this concept.

If the answer is "I can't get a barrel o-ring manifold in this part of the world" then you may have to do with what you can get. If the answer is "The proper manifold is £20 more expensive" then I'd suggest just spending the extra money.
