Anotheradvantage of the barrel o rings is the ability to rotate the islator bar when the thing is under pressure, although this isn't something you should do on a regular basis. You can't do this with facing O rings. It's nice to be able to adjust the isolator position if it's a bit "off". Minor stuff, I know.

I can also do this with my MDE manifold (new style) without any problems. Mind you, it is set up correctly
