As regards the JAX mouthpice, never tried it myself, I've got a sort of comfi-bite jobbie on mine which works really well. However, I've lifted this off the Inspiration list for you - be interesting to hear what others' opinions on the following are...

relaxed as possible - the problem is: - their design, results in the jaw
closing so much that you then find it much harder to breathe. There are two
black pegs which you leave in the moulding while you heat the mouthpiece and
bite down on it. These are supposed to prop the jaw open sufficiently - but
they don't. It is really difficult to breathe through the Jax m/piece - you
end up breathing through your teeth.

As I've stated before - anything that increases the work of breathing is to
be avoided.
