I chartered the Faithful the following year, by which time the compressor had been replaced with 2 coltri subs(though one had died after only 25hours), the boat is immaculate inside, food is very good, plentiful and veggies did not complain either. Kitting area is good and I had no problem with the ladder. Mick is very laid back and jenny is a great cook!
Depth junkie will have fond recollections of his intro to the faithfull, and Lions Mane jellyfish. Though we are all still puzzled as to why he kissed it! :-) |
We were so convinced that we were going to end up in the water/on a liferaft that a couple of people ran to the bow, inflated all the wings and came back to the stern with an armful of fins, masks, hood and gloves!! All while she was listing to both port and starb'd very violently, taking on water both sides. I think there were just 2 YBODs on there, one brand new! The only salvageable items that as far as I know have not been found were a VR3 and a Citizen Aqualand that were sitting on the freezer while the owner was taking his drysuit off when we hit the rock!
