Why do you care if some food you eat may contain an additive of an additive of an additive which might be mildly carcinogenic?
We're talking about a "walking past somebody who used to smoke a few years ago" kind of risk - utterly irrelevent and a waste of time worrying about it!

(Of cause, since the manufacturer has said that the foods should not be consumed, you should throw them away / take them back anyway, so that I don't get sued if my references are wrong)
