I might well be wrong but as I understand it,

As far as the cylinder test goes it is THE STAMP on the cylinder that counts. A sticker is just an added extra because after a while the stamp can become difficult to read!

If you are just talking good old 21% AIR then the stickers absence should not be an issue.

If your cylinder is marked up for Nitrox and you want anything other than 21%, Then there must be a VALID O2 service sticker on the cylinder, as well as the Stamp.
