Hi Ian,
Definitely. Although you'll note that I didn't suggested that Terry does a BSAC course. Although I guess it was implied...

Although I'm a great fan of BSAC at the branch level (certainly my branch ) BSAC nationally are lacking an offering at the more technical end of the spectrum. I would quite like to see BSAC offering trimix and rebreather courses for those that want to do one. BSAC are making steps in this direction and good luck to them say I.

However, Jack is a TDI and IANTD instructor as well, and to be honest, I don't know for certain which agency's qualification I'm doing in May I'm guessing that it will be the BSAC because it will be the cheapest, but obviously the trimix won't be BSAC.

Personally I'm doing the course to improve my skills and technique (as those who've seen me try and dive will tell you - there's a lot of room for improvement) and as so agency differences such the 80% / 100% don't really affect me - I just pointed it out so that people knew you could buy 100% if you wanted to.

Anyway, this is turning into a bit of a hijack - sorry Terry - I pointed it out becuase Terry's based in S London, what we have chosen might work for you. Or it might not.

Laters,
Janos

PS - Bah. Blown out so off to do some more cleaning around the house. Will check on thread a bit later at around the time for my next mug of tea.
