Anyone who has exported an animal abroad knows that rabies may take several attempts to achieve sufficient levels of immunity (at much cost to the owner). |
Approx 95% of animals achieve a suffiicient immunity (based on blood test results) on one injection alone. Those that do not achieve a level of antibodies that satisfies the export requirements are still likely to be immune, at least according to the rabies vaccine manufacturers.
