in my humble opinion!

you are right Stuart with my unit all i do is enpty the water trap and cap the scrubber
but with the ybod are you leaving the scrubber open to dry the cells or do you have so much moister the the stack that it needs to be left open?
as i dont think a small amout of moister in the stack makes much differance
