| I took DAN insurance to cover the new insurance requirement. PADI sent a letter saying they had not checked the DAN coverage and it is my responsibility to ensure that it does indeed cover their requirements.
They also included a list of things I should check such as student age limits covered by the insurance.
I'm pretty sure everything is covered, but it's a bit strange that they can't be bothered to check DAN's coverage, as there must be loads of us who use it in preference to the PADI recommended deal. Maybe it's because they don't want to encourage use of DAN - I wonder if PADI gets commission on their recommended scheme?
