Some of my mates are away at the minute ,,,, but we have been doing a ' round the houses ' e:mail so everyone can put together whats it's like in the industry. it will take a bit of time , but will be worth it .

The one of the Mods here can stick it as a first post.

All depends what you mean by OPPORTUNITIES ?

Jobs basically anything that needs doing underwater, or shallow water stand up depths.
Pay = Shite....... as a baby diver, your looking at £ 45 - 50 a 12 hour day. Then it will rise to around £ 90 if ya lucky.
Costs upwards of £ 5.000

For the first few years after you are ticketed, ypu have to take whatever jobs you can get on, pump out loads of CV's and get your name spread about.
Then it's sat on ya butt for days on end waiting for the phone to ring.

I'm lucky , have done all sorts ....

Now do callouts doing rope off prop jobs, bits and pieces in salvage, odd NDT'ing........... do i enjoy it ? ermmm i did do.

My advice ,,,,, get a RoV pilots tickets..... why ?
in 10 years time there will be about 100 divers ,,, the RoV is taking dive work off us ,,,

You can't bend a RoV.
RoV's don't have 3 hour T breaks.
RoV's can stay down a lot longer.
They don't argue back.

the list is long.
