So, has anyone found a way to make the umbilicals last longer? Mine's away getting a new one at the minute, and I don't really want to have to replace the umbilical every year! Any good methods of taking the strain off the ends of the cables? I'm thinking I might try a hose protector or just loads of tape wrapped around the end of the cable/connector, but wondered if anyone had a better solution that works?
