Hey Woz, did you ever try this?

I'm trying to decide whether to risk taking my new Peli 1040 to 40m (if it survives it's being turned into a torch battery), or to play it safe and just use it as a tool box.

Applying the highly scientific method of "standing on it and jumping up and down a bit", my calculations suggest that it should survive 4.82633011 bar with only minor creaking noises.

Anyone had any real-world experience to back this figure up?
