| The £300 for a Proteus 3 was from the dive show when several people were buying them at the same time. They are £340 usually (for the non-focusable head), so at the top end of your budget. I have a proteus 3 and I'm very happy with it so far - it has a really nice bright white light and as its mounted on my harness I don't feel the extra weight of a lead acid battery rather than a NiMH |
