ROV Ticket and HSE Surface supplied courses

Evening all

I have had a long chat with my wife and parents and things are not looking too peachy about me walking straight into a job that i could stick with for a number of years.

It came up that my family are willing to stump up the cash for the HSE Scuba, 1st aid and surface supplied courses in Fort William. They were saying that another 10 weeks of not earning wont matter now that you have been in education so long.

Can I ask advice please - i know i love diing and a commie ticket would be good, but what are the prospects of getting work?

Moving on to the ROV ticket, how much, how long, how many tickets needed?

I would like the surface supplied but if it wont warrant the costs of 5k then i shall have second thoughs

Cheers

Keith
