Been Lurking, so time for an Intro

Hi everyone....thought as I have been reading this forum for since April after I re-got the bug after a quick dive while on work in South Africa I thought I better introduce myself.

Initially qual'd in Lefkas, Greece summer 2002 to OW but didn't dive again until this year. Managed 1 dive in South Africa and 5 dives in California (again work). Never dived in UK but the stuff in CA was 11C in 7mm wetsuits.

Live in Chippenham, Wilts and have just joined the SeaHorse Dive Club in Wootton Bassett to get my training pushed along - drysuit training this weekend and AOW and RD hopefully not too far away.

So far I have gleaned loads from this board, although quite alot goes over my head I am sure it will surface in the future when it becomes relevant!

Pastimes include photography (Images of Life sideline business) and the outdoors in general. Once I have got my s**t in one sock regarding the basics of diving, want to get into underwater photography although I nearly died when I saw how much a housing for my S2Pro was!!

Aims for the future are to emigrate overseas to somewhere we have bought property and set up a dive centre (3 years time). The island doesn't have a dive centre, the water is lovely and warm (20C) and there are loads of wrecks and sea life and there will be some tourists in about 2 years time.....!

Anyway, thats me and I hope that I can continue to learn from the wider and more experienced audience.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.
