Not very often I get the chance to read through these pages,but I like to trawl through posts Yorkshire coast related when I'm home...
Back in the late eighties when the engine on Grangemouth was still stood upright, a bunch of us who dived together looked at a wreck north of Amethyst development field, the engine, condenser and pump assemblys were nigh on identical to Grangemouth, we didn't and still don't know the name of the wreck so it got tagged Grangemouth II or Grangey II..One of those lads is now one of the Owner/skippers of 'Ocean Dancer' ..It is miles away from the wreck off Withernsea..
Hope this helps clear up a misunderstanding..
