At least with a new unit i know where i am at, and have a warrenty to boot.

Recent prices paid;

2.5 yr old Classic with ADV, argon and new head/cells/service choice of wings/harnesses £2850.
2ish yr old classic with ADV, HUD and a sortment of extras £2700
5yr old With recent full service, no ADV £2500

I would say to the contrary.

The list goes on. Search and ye shall find. If you have the cash for new, go for it. If you want to save some cash, do some ground work.
Heres how;
Ask the guys here to forward you the weekly offerings off the closed Insipration list.
check eBay occasionally for Inspos, dont get carried away.
Check the "For Sale" section on YD.

If it takes you more than a month or so to get sorted the there is something wrong. I'm sure we all will help you along if you need help.

In case your interested, the price for a complete head service with electronics swap out (worst case scenario) is £376. This is what AP told me.
