My method certainly is not one handed. Does it need to be?

I carry the torch head on my left hand and use the right hand for clipping and unclipping. Unclipping the "caveline/handle" end is easy because I just stretch the bungee and out it comes easily, meaning I can then hang the light from the D-ring by the "ballast/bungee" end using the right hand.

If I wanted to stow the light from the handle end then that is more tricky. My normal technique is to unclip the cave line end, unclip the bungee end then reattach the cave line end before stowing as normal.

Because you have asked I have experimented and can unclip the bungee end by flipping my index finger round....though this is not easy and would need a bit of practice if I were to favour the technique.

I will play with this over the weekend....

Hi Mal,

Good to chat this aft btw.

The one handed bit is the GUE/DIR in Frank coming out Various reasons for doing it one handed which would all be explained on DIR-F.

Go on you know you wanna

Don't know if that helps or not ?

Cheers
