And what's the support like?
It's still hypothetical at the moment, not least becuase I've got to stay dry for 4 weeks.

PS - There's a SH one on the BSAC small ads for £2.5k. Anyone know what the going rate is? |
2.5K ready to fly is not a bad price.
Kiss is a great unit and I wanted one before I was coerced inot buying a YBOD by Andyp. I like it a lot but now having flown a YBOD i think all future CCRs will be full electronic units. Yes i know they have problems but Ultimatly i want to dive I dont want to be watching my hand sets all the damed time.
I could be tempted by a KISS with a HUD but thats about it.
Apart from that they travle light they are versitile so you can use them in most places and they are streemlined in comparison to the YBOD.
Suport is going to be a little more of an issue as your in the UK but I here its prety good. Mind you when a hand set fails you cant just jump in the car and drive there to get it sorted.
For 2.5K you can get a YBOD so there is no major cash saving even with new YBODs compared to new KISS units.
