 UK D4R Battery pack
Hi all,
So rather foolishly I have managed to flood my UK D4R torch this weekend, something to do with forgetting to turn the battery pack the right way round when getting gear together prior to dive (I store the torch with the battery pack reversed and the lens not fully tightened to prevent the torch either accidently getting switched on or me not being able to undo it) only this time I only remembered when I tried to turn the torch on at 30 mtrs........
Anyway now you've all had a giggle at how I managed it, my question is this, although the torch worked on my second dive, the battery pack seems a little the worse for the experience, the rest of the torch I have washed out and dried in our airing cupboard. So I need a new battery pack, and was wondering if anyone else has bought one recently, if so where from, how much etc. or is it one of those situations where it is cheaper to buy a complete new torch than a new battery pack ??
If its to be a new torch, should I buy another D4R as I have been very happy with my 1st one, or is there some others I should be looking at ??
