everywhere I look now people are using a DIR based (I assume) config on their twinsets.

Mine currently is inverted - please don't go.. please continue reading..

I am thinking of changing my kit around so that I am more like my buddies dive config. If it works - for me - then I might well adopt it.

So.

Hose lengths - can you guys and gals let me know what hose lengths are standard:
HP Contents: 24" ?
Wing: ?
primary hose: 2m?
necklaced Backup: ?
Dry suit: ?

I ask as I have a few spare hoses, so would like to confirm (besides testing them for myself) to save myself cash if poss..

Also.

Can someone confirm I have this correct:

With the cylinders on your back:
right 1st stage: Primary long hose Reg, wing inflate
left 1st stage: backup Reg, Drysuit inflate, Contents gauge

with a crossover behind your head from left to right for necklaced backup
and a crossover behind your head from right to left for wing inflate.
