Yup. I had "Deeper diving" as a topic which is huuuuge. I just chose one bit, which was how to use a trapeze - a technique appropriate to deeper diving. There was a bit of an intro, but the main lesson was when I had the group descending a shot, reeling off, coming back to a shot, unclipping a trapeze and drifting with the current out of a classroom. I bumped into one of them recently and they still remember the lesson. Personally I thought the best lesson there was the chap who had "communication" as a topic and taught us all rope signals. Again - he got us up on our feet and gave us all bits of string and had us communicating in pairs.

Definitely think of ways to get your students involved. The more involved they are the more likely they are to remember the lesson.
