Is the Salvo 21 a better torch? YES, no doubt
Is it worth spending the extra £300 as a soon to be student?
......that's where I'm stuck. Thats nearly the cost of a wing and Mk25 for twins which I'm looking towards around Xmas. I'd love the Salvo but financially I'm getting less able to choose with all the impending fees and such |
Bear in mind Pete that torch which is on "offer" is NOT a NIMH battery. Also it has the notoriously fragile Welch Allen bulbs, so think about the ongoing cost of replacing bulbs at Gawd knows how much a time.
That may help you justify your decision a little differently, the 10W Salvo is a perfectly good light, in fact in some cases it can be a better light as has been pointed out earlier in the thread.
Don't know if that helps ?
Cheers
Btw, you still have a little time left for 9A 10W which is on Ebay at the moment.
