| Making a sport diver out of a Commercial one
I am a PADI MSDT and also work as a Police diver.I work alongside a collegue who wishes to become PADI trained (hols etc).We both have HSE qual`s (the old part 4,50mts on air.)He routinely wears drysuits,goes to 50 mts,has done over 100 dives and passes an annual HSE diving medical.Now, because our equipment differs from that of sports divers he has never worn a bcd,used an open circuit demand valve or a half mask.In addition he`s not done any quizzes,knowledge reviews and thinks an RDP is a rest day payment!
My question-To what level can I train him providing of course all other PADI and HSE requirments are met( ie 02,dm etc)
I imagine I would have to create (legit,of course)a paper trail for him also? |
